Classic bigos (a savory stew of cabbage, meat, seasoning)


Ingredients: 2 kg raw cabbage, 2 kg sauerkraut, 0,5 kg meat, 0,25 dag sausages, 0,25 dag smoked bacon, mushrooms, bay leaf, pepper, BIGOS SEASONING, tomato puree, salt and pepper.
Instruction: stew raw cabbage and sauerkraut, with pepper, bay, leaf, BIGOS SEASONING, mushrooms for 2-3 hs. Cut bacon, fry it, then add sausage and cut meat. Fry it together. Pour off water from cabbage, add fried meat, sausage and bacon and pan fat. Stew. Ass tomato puree.
